Despite last year’s pleas for reconciliation, most publicly through his song “Paula,” 39-year-old Paula Patton was granted a divorce from singer Robin Thicke, 38, Cleveland.com reported on March 18.
The nine year marriage between the two, which produced their four-year-old son, will officially end on April 14. During their relationship, Patton was featured in several of Thicke’s music videos and served as inspiration for the singer.
In addition to the recent divorce decision, the ‘Blurred Lines’ singer was recently ordered by the court to pay nearly $7.4 million after a judge decided that he and his co-artist Pharrell copied parts of Marvin Gaye’s 1977 hit ‘Got to Give it Up.’’
