Rap artist Nick Cannon allegedly filed for divorce from his estranged wife, Mariah Carey, a week after agreeing on a settlement, the Daily Mailreported on January 17.
Reports claim that although the 34-year-old rapper was the first one to file his divorce papers, he will not be receiving any monetary amount from Mariah’s earnings in an upcoming Las Vegas residency. The two wed in April 2008 after six weeks of dating. They got separated in August 2013 before Nick officially filed for divorce on December 12 last year. They are parents to twins, Morrocan and Monroe.
