After three years of marriage, country star Jake Owen and model Lacey Buchanan have decided to file for divorce, the U.S. Magazine reported last month.
The couple’s decision to divorce was made public in an announcement made by the 33-year-old singer via Twitter. Owen said filing for divorce was one is the hardest things he has ever done. Owen also said that he and his ex-wife are focused on raising their daughter, Pearl, born in November 2012.
The two first worked together for the singer’s “Eight Second Ride” video. They got engaged in April 2012 and married a month later.
