Reality television star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian is finally officially divorced from basketball player Kris Humphries’ as of Monday, June 3.
Wed on Aug. 20, 2011, the couple had only been married for 72 days when Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries on October 31 in a Los Angeles court, citing irreconcilable differences. On Dec. 1, 2011, Humphries filed his response to Kardashian’s petition: a request of annulment on the grounds of fraud, as he surmised that Kardashian only married him as a publicity stunt, something which she vehemently denied.
Humphries also tried to ask the court for legal separation as opposed to Kardashian’s divorce request.
