A woman whose child was fathered by Houston Rockets player Dwight Howard has filed court documents stating that the basketball star has been lagging behind his financial obligations to their 4-year-old child, the New York Daily News reported on June 10.

The woman, whose real identity was withheld, said Howard has only paid half of the $10,000 child support for the past couple of months. The woman also wants to increase the child support payments due to the difficulties the child must experience as the child of a celebrity.

In 2013, Dwight Howard sealed an $88 million deal with the Rockets. The star also reportedly earns $27 million per year from endorsements.
