Food Network host Giada De Laurentiis, who is now officially divorced from her ex-husband, has been ordered to pay a large sum to her ex as part of the divorce arrangement.
According to the report, the 45-year-old culinary chef has been ordered to pay $2 million plus a monthly child support of $9,000 to Todd Thompson, her former husband of 11 years. Thompson will also get to keep their home in Pacific Palisades, which is worth $3.2 million. Court documents show De Laurentiis should split the profits from her previously published cookbooks with her ex, as well as the ones that are currently in the works. Both individuals say they plan to share joint custody over their daughter.
